I don’t know, but I’m guessing it’s a long time. I have read that some question the efficacy of the giant bomber, since its turnaround time is slow even though it can drop a huge amount of retardant or water.

flight journal had an article maybe 7or 8 years ago and on water bombers ae capable to fill up in seconds compared to the jet bombers that can take 15 minutes under ideal situations.

That aircraft is the 10 Tanker Air Carrier. I know they retired 910, so it’s probably 911 or 912. They claim to be able to refill all 11,600 gallons in 15-20 minutes.
